Themes]Chalks: With chalks, you can add depth and interest to your diecuts. Use chalk pencils with templates to make coordinated designs and lettering. The beauty of decorating chalks is their ability to shade and blend colors for a soft pastel finish. Colors can be easily layered to bring out their intensity, or worked together to achieve a third color. Chalks can add so much to the most basic layout! Rub-ons: Metallic rub-ons are relatively new to the mainstream scrapbooker. They have been 'discovered' from other crafters, and are making a hit! Fun and easy to use, they are excellent for highlighting and accenting your favorite craft project. Apply them with your finger by working in a circular motion, breaking down the colors and bringing out the full metallic sheen. Rub- ons must be used on hard-type craft surfaces such as glossy or heavy card stock, vellum, ceramics, wood, etc. Rub-ons are great for rubbing on tags, fibers, and other natural-looking embellishments.
